For you what's the most boring killer perk to go against as survivor? (2024)

For me is Corrupt Intervention, i hate it. I hate to use my sprintbust at the start, i hate to guess the right path to the near not corrupted generator. I simply hate this perk.

I don't mind Corrupt, cause at least trying to sneak past the killer to get to a far gen is stimulating... and if you get downed, hey Corrupt is gone...

I find Grim Embrace really irritating personally...

You can't all go for the unhook... and the first 3 procs are too short to realistically go anywhere else to do something productive... so you just wait for 10 seconds twiddling your thumbs. Like Deadlock is annoying, but at least you can run to another nearby gen and start progressing that.

The final proc lasts 40 seconds, so you can go elsewhere... but it blocks everything... so it's still hard to find something productive to do...

It also basically allows the killer to camp the hook, because there is literally nowhere else better for them to be... a killer who goes out and chases is fair enough, but realistically speaking, by doing that you're allowimg survivors to have a way to be useful for their team by making the save and healing, so youre actually better camping the hook and forcing a trade.

If the save is made, I literally just sit opening chests or doing random totems during the 40s cause there is literally nothing to do otherwise, unless you wanna throw yourself at the killer, and that is pointless cause you're still not buying anything of value for your team... 😒

    As of yesterday, Knock Out.

I played against a Blight with Knock Out, Coulrophobia, Deerstalker and Mindbreaker who just slugged us all on RPD and it was the most boring game I've played in a very long time. What makes it worse is that it really only works against a team of solo queues, but that's all I play sadly.

i dislike all gen-blocking perks as survivor for very reason you describe. promotes camping and tunneling survivors out of the game. unfortunately, this play-style is more rewarding as everything else is mediocre or nerfed.

I dunno. Maybe Sloppy Boogers. Healing is very boring, and the perk makes that boredom last even longer.

Knockout. How this perk has not received a complete overhaul is honestly a mystery. It's very oppressive against soloq and promotes bleeding people out.

I always forget about Corrupt halfway through the match, which sometimes makes me think the killer has NOED or Blood Warden in endgame

third seal. Blindness just makes the game more annoying, but doesn’t really do much unless it’s in the unfindable hook/slug build. Those builds are fun to play against though :)

    Knock Out for sure.

Knock Out encourages bleeding people out and most people who run this perk refuse to hook, and it also destroys solo queue players, I play solo a lot so whenever I come across Knock Out I most likely will want to actually DC because I will be on the ground most of the match with my teammates unsure where I am, worst designed perk in the game along with old Made For This.

Probably Rancor, even though I barley see it. You either get mori'd without being hooked, or you have to leave your teammate on hook for dead at endgame. It's why it's in all my builds as killer.

Unforeseen is pretty intolerable and power creep to hell. It pretty much the old UW of undetachable. On in door maps with constant line of sight blocking it pretty much a free win. You can't even tell it in play like trail most of the time. Irl wall hacking plagues love running it for free wins in my experience.

Because that's the more frequently posted question here.

Really? I see it regularly in discussions about hated killer perks, btw Undeddjester reminded me that I missed the topic with my suggestion 😅

Also I personally have played with it 3 years ago and always regretted using it when letting survivor escape and then accidently stealing their item when slapping them on the butt out of the exit. 😓

Knock Out. I've yet to come across a killer running it that isn't using it to bleedout everyone they can. Laying on the ground for 4 minutes doing nothing, doesn't get more boring than that.

I've always seen it used for bleedout builds. When it was announced as one of the perks in the big perks adjustment patch I hoped they were doing an overhaul, instead they buffed it to make it even better for bleedout builds.

Blindness in general helps counter survivor aura reading perks. Seeing how common WoO is, 3rd seal can cripple survivors who don't know which pallets were used.

Deadlock. Always Deadlock. You can't really ignore it and it works even when the killer is afk.

    None of em, really.

I just try to adapt to whatever the killer is running the best I can.

Knock Out. It's used exclusively by people who are out to make the game as miserable as possible. If someone is running this perk then they are going to slug everyone until they bleed out. It is never used for any reason beyond this. It is also useless against a SWF. It's basically only good for torturing solo queue players. How this perk has dodged a rework is beyond me. I have gotten the same Wraith on FOUR separate occasions. He just sends people to RPD and attempts to bleed everyone out without ever hooking.

    Knock Out and Lightborn.

I agree with everyone else about knockout.
Lightborn make flashlights and flashbangs totally useless just by bringing it.
There is nothing more boring than total immunity, both as a killer and a survivor.

All of the aura reading perks. Killers should not be allowed to see where the survivors are for free.

I don't find pretty much any Killer perk that big a deal to go against because I don't care whether I escape or not.

I really do not like Knockout though because of the way some Killers tend to use it.
